Pedaling for Patriots

We did a 20 mile ride today after being off the bikes for a week, due to travel (Rob) and medical stuff (Kim).  We left at 8am and the temperature was about 48 degrees!  We biked a route past Bull Run park, towards Clifton, thinking we would miss rush hour traffic.  Boy were we wrong!  People were generally considerate, but there were a few who did not want to share the road (Silver BMW driver – the horn honking was particularly rude!).  We’re getting better at shifting going up and down hills, although Rob still thinks we need more gears in the lower level.
